Northern New England Oppos, how about a roadtrip? Plan is departing July 17th from White River Junction, Vermont/ Lebanon, NH and driving straight through to Frederick, Maryland. We would be returning Sunday, possibly Monday. I’d prefer Monday but I also understand people have work schedules.
Wait you say, why are you going? Basically it’s my mom’s birthday and I want to go for that. She told me I could bring a friend, and my grandmother, who has done the drive many times, doesn’t want me to do it for the first time all on my own. I don’t want to either.
So basically what’s in it for you is free food, including cake, a weekend away from whatever shit you’re dealing with, someone to talk to for 8 hours, somewhere to sleep Friday and Saturday (possibly Sunday) night, and a ride down in a still relatively new car (no roadside repairs, no suffering without AC, and a working radio).
All I ask is that you don’t be a smoker and don’t, ya know, murder me.
And no, I don’t like lotion.

I’d be down if it was going in the other direction lol. I love heading up to Vermont for skiing in the winter and have always wanted to check it out in the summer time. I imagine there is some great hiking and camping to be had up there.
